Meet The Artist

I’ve always been drawn to the process of discovering what glass can become.
Working with fused glass gives me the freedom to experiment with color, texture, movement, and form. Some pieces begin with a carefully planned design, while others develop more intuitively. I enjoy finding the balance between structure and spontaneity and allowing the material to guide the final result.
Glass Desert Studio is a shared creative space. My husband, Scott, works alongside me, helping bring many of my ideas to life. Outside the studio, we enjoy traveling, exploring the outdoors, spending time with our family, and taking Nebo along whenever we can.
The places I have experienced—especially the landscapes, colors, and history of the American West—quietly influence the way I create. I do not try to reproduce those places literally. Instead, their shapes, textures, and memories naturally find their way into the work.
Each piece is individually designed, cut, layered, and fired in my studio. My goal is to create art that feels distinctive, meaningful, and worthy of becoming part of someone’s home.

The Studio Philosophy
At Glass Desert Studio, working with glass is a balance between intention and discovery. Skill and experience guide the process, but heat, color, and the nature of the glass often influence the final form.
Whether I am creating sculptural art, functional pieces, or a custom commission, the goal remains the same:
To create meaningful, lasting glass art that connects with the viewer.
Beyond the Glass
ABC Seescapes
Creativity has always reached beyond the studio. Together with my sister, I created ABC Seescapes, a playful photographic book that invites children to discover letters hidden in the world around them.
